| Old Mans Pub: for all generation. From 18 to 99
The Old Man’s Pub is the most popular pub in Budapest among our local and foreign guests since 1996. The Old Man’s Pub is the center of the Hungarian pop music life with the most popular blues, soul and funky bands playing every night starting from 21 PM. The pub resembles the legendary MARQEE club in London, where The Beatles stared it’s career. After the concerts the party starts on the dancefloor at 23 PM with a DJ providing the music.
We welcome our guests with a great variety of dishes with over 150 meals including the tipical Hungarian tastes and the masterpieces of the international cuisine. Uniquely in Budapest, our restaurant serves our guests until 4 in the morning.
Similarly to HARD ROCK CAFE the greatest Hungarian star musicians’ relics can be found among our decorations.
The most attractive bartender girls in town work in the Old Man’s Pub and just as MICHELIN we publish a calendar with their photos every year. If you are in town we welcome you every day of the week til 4 in the morning.
Celebrities such as Eddie Murphy, David Copperfield, the Rolling Stones, Sylvester Stallone, Michael Schumacher and many more have been our guests through the years.Very great place to go and have fun!!! It is not just an Irish pub, it is a disco bar. About us:
You can enjoy your time being there especially on Mondays!!!! It has great selection of music, basically plays all the best music from old stuff to very new popular music!!! Dance floor is not big, but funnn!!! :) Can always meet interesting people from different parts of the world!!! And even make friends!!! Gaga-London Fodor's Review: One thing you can't fault this dimly lit cellar pub for is consistency; it's packed even on Monday night. Of course in Hungary that means you'll be inhaling a fair bit of second-hand smoke. If that doesn't ruin your fun, enjoy the live bluesy rock and jazz, as well as the friendly chaos behind the bar—while everyone squeezes onto the small dance floor. http://www.fodors.com/world/europe/hungary/budapest/review-116872.html?t=1 Vivien Paris If you are going to Budapest ,and you are between the ages of 26-40, then the Old Man's Pub is the place to be. This has got to be the best hangout in eastern Europe. Great food and drinks, live music every night, and after the live music is done they got 2 small dance floors for you to let it loose. The atmosphere in this place is just incredible, and the bartenders look like Hooters girls. No better place for a Friday night, or any night. It is mostly a 30's crowd, no kids. Don't leave Budapest without visiting this place. |
